Aeroplane mad Tim Haley and Bill Lambert, MD of Electropak Limited visited Farnborough International Airshow on one of the trade days on Thursday 22nd July.
Electropak, a firm of precision engineers, supply a wide variety of components for ground and airborne equipment.
Bill is pictured on the BAE Systems stand in front of 'HERTI' an unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV). Components manufactured by Electropak were supplied to Slingsby Aviation, a main sub contractor on the project.
Despite falling military sales due to worldwide budget cut backs, record orders of 31 billion were announced at Farnborough 2010 boosted by huge deals for Airbus and Boeing civil airliners.
The UK Aerospace industry employs over 100,000 people and revenues in 2009 of 22.2 billion were 5.4% up on 2008.Go Back
