Haleys are delighted to announce that the firm has been accepted as full members of the North West Aerospace Alliance, a flagship organisation representing 750 companies and stakeholders involved in the North West Aerospace Cluster.
Haleys have a passion for precision engineering businesses and particularly those involved in the aerospace industry.
Business services manager, Cath Molyneux said "we are very pleased to become members of NWAA. Haleys over the years have acted for a number of third and fourth tier subcontractors and we are looking to work more with similar businesses. 2010 has also been a record year for helping aerospace clients with their cash flow by agreeing substantial R&D tax credits with HMRC".
The Northwest, internationally renowned for a pivotal role in the aerospace industry, has been responsible for developing over 100 types of aircraft over the years. Currently, over 800 aerospace companies, including BAE Systems, Rolls-Royce and Airbus, contribute 7 billion per year to the local economy - a third of the UK's entire gross value added in the aerospace sector.
Lancashire is the UK's largest centre of aerospace manufacturing and production, employing more skilled people and generating more overseas income than any other region in the UK.Go Back
