City Build, one of haleys longest-running clients, have successfully completed one of a series of challenging projects, with the 42nd Street building in Manchester’s Great Ancoats Street.
The innovative design was recently voted the Manchester Society of Architects Commercial Building of the Year and Building of the Year awards for 2012.
The building provides a striking contemporary base for 42nd Street, a charity which provides support services for young people under stress. The charity has been working since 1980 for young people aged 13-20 in Manchester, Salford and Trafford to provide a range of services including counselling, group work and volunteering opportunities.
haleys are very proud to have been associated with City Build in this project, with Managing Director Tim Haley helping his old college friend Andrew Petrie to form the company in 1997.
City Build’s accounting and finance functions have been outsourced to haleys since City Build were formed, and we continue to provide an outsourcing service to a select group of client businesses.
Well done Andrew and your team from everyone at haleys!
