Architectural client, Mick Goode (co-founder and director of Croft Goode Limited), gave his opinion to the Lancashire Evening Post on Tuesday about the proposals to re-develop Preston bus station.
Last week, an £8.3 million deal was revealed to save the bus station and if approved by cabinet, the future of the bus station will be saved.
Preston bus station is one of those Marmite issues - people either love it or hate it. Most of us here at Haleys love it, although we are not quite certain what to do with it!
In his article, Mick pointed out that all the key stakeholders need to have a voice and praised Preston City and Lancashire County Council for listening and working together to develop Preston.
Operating from their new purpose built offices in Kirkham, Croft Goode Limited is an award-winning firm of Chartered Architects and urban designers, delivering an extensive range of specialist services to a diverse client base.
If you would like to read the whole article, it is in the Lancashire Evening Post from Tuesday 3 December 2013, page 25.
We are sure that Mick Goode, David Croft and their colleagues will come up with some interesting ideas to utilise this great building.
