The good sportsmen of Preston based business growth accountants, haleys teamed up with members of Marshall Peters to compete in the Seneca Corporate 5-a-side football tournament.
The tournament took place on Friday 12th September and there were 12 teams involved.
The tournament was not just a fun and exciting afternoon for all involved - its main focus was to raise money for Twincess, a charity supporting children with Downs Syndrome and providing help and advice to those affected. The tournament raised a fantastic £2,650 which is an excellent achievement.
After a blazing two win start, team haleys then drew one match and lost (or decided to let another team win!) another match.
On speaking about the tournament, senior client manager, Paul Farrington who took part in the event said: "It was great to see so many people come together and take time out of their busy schedules to have a couple of games of football. The fact that all money raised was going to such an important charity helped with the motivation. The day was a great success and a huge well done should go to Seneca for organising the event."
Team haleys managed to place third overall in their group.
Well done to all of team haleys on such a brilliant achievement!
