There was cause to celebrate last week after a client of haleys was named Creative Sector Business of the Year at the 2015 Red Rose Awards.
Event managers Cuffe & Taylor were one of 26 award winners at the renowned annual ceremony that strives to collectively celebrate the success of Lancashire’s diverse businesses and industry, as well as marking exceptional business performance in the 12 months leading up to the event.
A capacity crowd of more than a thousand people gathered at the Empress Ballroom in Blackpool’s Winter Gardens on March 12th to see the event management and production company fight off competition from five other recognised creative companies around the county.
Other notable nominees within the Creative Sector category were film and video producers BigTank Productions, Academy Print & Design and numerous digital marketing companies including Creativeworld and Lancaster-based Fat Media who scooped the first edition of the award in 2011.
This year’s win, however, signifies huge progress for Cuffe & Taylor who were nominated for the Small Business of the Year award just three years ago in 2012.
The event itself was first launched in 2011 and, while the five year anniversary attracted a record crowd, some aspects have always remained the same: the venue, the judging panels made up of independent business experts and sponsors, and, most importantly, the opportunity to network and celebrate with one another.
haleys would like to congratulate all those recognised at the 2015 Red Rose Awards – a winners’ reception is set to take place on Thursday 26th March from 4 to 6 at Houghton Tower manor house situated between Preston and Blackburn.Go Back
