We are delighted to announce that after two and a half years and 11 exams, Chantal Levy has become the latest haleys’ employee to become a fully certified chartered accountant after gaining her ACCA qualification.
Chantal began working towards the qualification in early 2013, studying at BPP University in Milton Keynes on a mixture of evenings and weekends while maintaining a full-time position within the accounts sector.
When Chantal joined haleys as an assistant client manager at the end of June this year, she was waiting on the results of her final two ACCA exams, and has now received the fantastic news that she passed both papers to complete the qualification, and even within the timeframe that she had originally set herself.
The exams were completed in pairs during one sitting every six months, requiring Chantal to attend BPP once or twice a week for six weeks each time to fully prepare for the upcoming papers.
14 exams are involved in the ACCA qualification in total, varying from tax accounts to ethics, but Chantal was exempt from the first three of these having previously completed her AAT qualification.Go Back
