14 April 2016
From the 6th April 2016 all UK companies and LLP’s are required to keep a Person with Significant Control Register (PSC Register).
This register must be made publically available and submitted to Companies House on an annual basis.
The register will contain the names, month and year of birth, address and details of the influence or control each individual/legal entity has over a company. The company will be required to hold the residential address although the records at Companies House will only disclose an individual’s service address.
From 30th June 2016 the PSC register will be submitted to Companies House alongside the new confirmation statement which replaces the existing annual returns.
Unlike the current annual return regime there is the potential for criminal penalties including fines for companies who do not comply with the PSC Register and confirmation statement.
For your peace of mind if we already submit your annual return we will take care of these changes free of charge.Go Back
