Michelle joined the haleys team in January 2018 as an R&D Technical Analyst. She holds a BSc in Environmental Geology from the University of Leeds, a PGDip in Acoustics and Noise Control from Leeds Beckett University and is currently studying towards a Graduate Diploma in Law at the University of Central Lancashire. Michelle is also an Associate Member of the Institute of Acoustics. Michelle has a varied professional background including geo-technical/environmental engineering for an international consultancy, extensive Local Authority experience in an enforcement context, including legal case file preparation, prosecution proceedings and subsequent court attendance in the fields of Licensing and Environmental Protection services, in particular investigating statutory nuisance, anti-social behaviour and public health matters.

In her limited spare time away from work, studying and raising her young family, Michelle is an avid traveller, having emigrated twice with her family in her childhood years to South Africa and later to Australia. Michelle hopes to one day fly through the Grand Canyon and to add a rock from there to her substantial collection. Michelle is renowned amongst friends and colleagues for her love of cleanliness, gardening, attention to detail and meticulous organisational skills. Michelle loves table-tennis and is highly competitive with it, a self-confessed fair weather runner, Michelle regularly partakes in the Race for Life and the Santa Dash at Christmas for a local hospice.
